OPEN CALL FOR MONO MAKERS PROGRAM 2024

Exciting news! We are excited to announce the continuation of our project MONO MAKERS PROGRAM (MMP) initiated last year, with the launch of the 2024 edition this year. This project will once again unite Dutch designers and Japanese makers to craft exceptional and innovative products that reflect the rich creativity and distinct visions of both cultures.

To join our program, simply check out the application requirements and submit your project proposal along with your preferred Japanese collaborator before May 15, 2024.

What's in it for you?

End of June, we'll select one dynamic creative duo, who will receive our full hands-on support. Upon selection, the pair will kick off their journey with online meetings to further develop their plan (June – August 2024). The highlight? Meeting in person at the MONO JAPAN Fair in September 2024, where you’ll give a presentation and join our network meeting alongside all MMM members.

From October 2024 to March 2025, the pair will continue their collaboration to refine and develop their product(s). The grand reveal: An exhibition in Japan (March 2025) and a showcase at the MONO JAPAN Fair in the Netherlands (September 2025).
