About the Exhibitor
Ryui is a jewellery brand founded by the husband-and-wife team Ryu Hinata and Yui Taira, who share a passion for creating pieces that are cherished for a lifetime. Ryu, originally a lacquerware artisan, and Yui, a package designer, launched the brand in 2008 and will be celebrating its 18th anniversary in 2026.
Guided by the concept of "beautiful things that move the heart", each piece is carefully handcrafted in its own atelier in Japan. Rooted in Japanese craftsmanship, Ryui takes pride in its sincere and refined techniques, designing jewellery that gently accompanies the wearer through the passage of time.
In 2015, Ryui opened a direct store in Nishi-Ogikubo, Tokyo, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025. Their collections include timeless fashion jewellery, finely crafted bridal rings, and heartfelt remakes that connect memories across generations.

Fashion Jewelry
Ryui’s core series each embodies the brand’s philosophy and aesthetic. The three representative collections to be exhibited are:
Syami: Inspired by the body of the traditional shamisen instrument, this series reimagines the soft, subtle quadrilateral shape that naturally fits the contours of the finger. The smooth, rounded interior is carefully crafted for comfort, offering a surprising feel despite the ring’s square appearance. The popular ear cuffs are designed to stay securely in place.
Leaf: Featuring a motif of connected leaves, each piece has slight variations for a playful, organic touch. This nature-inspired design evokes freshness and gentle, calm emotions. Some rings are set with one-of-a-kind diamonds or sapphires, appealing to both domestic and international customers for daily wear or bridal use. The collection also includes necklaces, earrings, and ear cuffs.
Slight Scent: Delicate chain jewellery inspired by the faint scent carried on the wind. Tiny invisible particles are imagined drifting into the wearer, awakening subtle memories. The series includes earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Using carefully selected natural stones with unique inclusions, Ryui creates one-of-a-kind jewellery that highlights the beauty of nature’s accidental formations. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to bring out the stone’s most striking qualities.Bridal Rings
Ryui’s bridal rings are crafted with care and thought, designed to be cherished for a lifetime. Skilled atelier artisans pay attention to comfort and finish, while each design carries a concept imbued with meaning.
Rough Cut: Rings feature matte surfaces with randomly placed polished areas, creating a unique texture on every piece. Couples can customise the ratio of polished to matte surfaces, enhancing personal significance. Available as engagement and wedding rings.
Trunk: Inspired by trees that grow slowly through harsh and warm seasons, this ring evokes the contrast of warmth and resilience in the texture of wood. Polished sides catch the light, offering a symbolic expression of the couple’s long journey together.
