MONO JAPAN at Expo 2025 Osaka
🇳🇱✨ A Royal Visit at Expo 2025!
On May 21, His Majesty the King of the Netherlands 👑 will visit the Expo to celebrate the Netherlands National Day! If your schedule aligns, don’t miss the chance to experience the exciting exhibitions at the Dutch Pavilion — including the one we’re proudly part of 🧡
Special Exhibition: “Bridging Past and Future”
We’re honored to be participating in this special exhibition that marks 425 years of Japan–Netherlands exchange. From Dejima to today’s creative collaborations, this long-standing relationship continues to grow through shared learning and innovation.
MONO JAPAN will showcase two exciting initiatives:
MONO MAKERS PROGRAM — spotlighting the next generation of cross-cultural craftsmanship.
AKIYA AIR — a creative residency project breathing new life into Japan’s vacant traditional homes through design and dialogue.
The exhibition brings together projects and objects created by Dutch and Japanese artists, designers, and makers — showing what can happen when cultures connect and co-create.
