MONO TOMO connects Rotterdam with Japanese craft, design, and creativity beyond the main fair venue. Our MONO TOMO friends host unique events, exhibitions, or experiences during the MONO JAPAN Fair (23–25 January 2026), creating a city-wide route for visitors to explore.

By visiting these satellite locations, you can discover exclusive collaborations, meet local creatives inspired by Japanese aesthetics, and enjoy special perks that complement the fair.

RaMen TOMOHARU Rotterdamdam

About RaMen TOMOHARU Rotterdam
The owner of RaMen TOMOHARU honed his craft for over five years in Tokyo’s fiercely competitive ramen scene, carrying a “global dream” first nurtured at a general trading company before changing paths to ramen.

He opened the first shop in Kudanshita, Tokyo, in March 2023, gaining coverage on Japanese TV and in various media. Hearing the heartfelt reactions of travellers from Europe convinced him to move hearts with truly authentic Japanese ramen.

Rotterdam was selected for the first step abroad—a city that embraces diversity and new challenges. In this forward-looking environment, RaMen TOMOHARU aims to write a new chapter for Japanese ramen.

Guided by the philosophy, “To connect people like best friends and move hearts through authentic Japanese ramen”, RaMen TOMOHARU brings connection, emotion, surprise, happiness, and joy to people around the world through true ramen, Japanese-style hospitality, and a thoughtfully crafted space.
