About the Exhibitor
Founded in 1921, HARIO has been dedicated to the design, production and sale of heatproof glass. It remains the only heatproof glass manufacturer in Japan with its own factory.
Originally established as a maker of laboratory glassware, HARIO expanded into household items in 1948, beginning with the coffee siphon. The company later broadened its scope to include automotive headlight lenses in 1980, and today, its product range extends from microwave-safe kitchenware and coffee and tea equipments to aromatherapy and pet products.
The name HARIO originates from the Japanese words for glass (玻璃, hari) and king (王, ō), together meaning “The King of Glass”. This name reflects the company’s enduring ambition to become the world's number 1 glass manufacturer.
HARIO Europe B.V., the European branch of HARIO, was established in the Netherlands with the goal of providing high-quality service, tailored to the European market. With an international team, HARIO continues to enrich lives across Europe through their brand.
