About the Exhibitor
Sakura Japanese Workshop is a Japanese language and culture school based in The Hague, the Netherlands. The school creates an immersive environment where learners of all ages can connect with the essence of Japan—its language, its people, and its stories.
Founded with the belief that language learning should be more than grammar and vocabulary, Sakura focuses on expression, connection, and discovery. Its programs combine conversation, reading, and cultural experiences, allowing students to gain not only linguistic skills but also a deeper appreciation of Japanese ways of thinking and communication.
Sakura offers classes for both adults and children, from beginners to advanced learners, taught by bilingual instructors who understand cross-cultural contexts. Beyond the classroom, Sakura organises seasonal workshops and reading clubs that connect learners with authentic Japanese literature and social topics.
Sakura aims to introduce a different kind of craftsmanship—the craftsmanship of words. Just as artisans shape materials with care and intention, Sakura invites participants to experience how language can also be a craft of human connection.
